EVENT DESCRIPTION
The British Language Centre had the opportunity to participate in a meaningful event, the National Humanitarian Chess Tournament, which was held on the 19th and 20th of June. The tournament was organised by Club Echecs ENSA Tanger and aimed to support a noble cause. The initiative was focused on setting up a well-equipped chess workshop for the children of the deaf association, providing them with the necessary equipment and resources to explore and develop their passion for chess.We were thrilled to have the chance to contribute to this project, and it was an honour for us to be able to collaborate with Club Echecs ENSA Tanger. Our goal was to help the members of the deaf association, providing them with the opportunity to practise their passion for chess in the best conditions possible.The tournament was a great success, and we were delighted to see the participants’ enthusiasm and dedication. The children showed impressive skills and a keen interest in the game, and it was heartwarming to witness their progress over the course of the event.As an educational institution, the British Language Centre recognises the importance of such initiatives and the value they bring to the community. We are committed to supporting similar projects in the future and working towards creating more opportunities for children to explore and develop their passions.
