EVENT DESCRIPTION
The British Language Centre recently organised a cultural week centred around the theme of ‘Morocco’s Independence Day’. The week-long celebration was filled with activities that aimed to educate and entertain the students while promoting cultural awareness and appreciation.The young learners of the language centre took part in creating handmade Moroccan flags. The activity was not only a fun arts and crafts project, but it also allowed the students to learn about the flag’s history and significance in Morocco’s Independence Day celebrations.The teens students participated in interactive quizzes and games that were both informative and engaging. The quizzes covered various aspects of Moroccan culture, history, and traditions, allowing the students to broaden their knowledge and gain a better understanding of the country’s heritage.The games were equally entertaining, with activities such as traditional Moroccan music and dance performances and traditional Moroccan dress-up contests. These activities encouraged the students to explore different aspects of Moroccan culture and participate in the festivities.
